Cookie Policy
This Cookie Policy describes the technologies used by Bi-Rank and the BinaryCode srl website, in line with the ePrivacy Directive and the guidelines of the Italian Data Protection Authority of 10 June 2021.
In short
Most of the tools we use are technical or anonymous statistics, exempt from consent under Art. 122 of the Italian Privacy Code. The built-in chat widget (Tawk.to, section 4) instead asks for your consent through its own banner before enabling browsing-tracking cookies.
What cookies and similar technologies are
Cookies are small text files that sites store on your device. Similar technologies
(e.g. localStorage) store information in the browser. They can be "technical"
(necessary to operate, consent-exempt) or "profiling" (require consent). We use only
the former.
Technologies used
1. Technical browser storage (localStorage)
The application stores some strictly functional information in localStorage:

This data stays on your device, is not used for profiling, and you can delete it at any time from your browser settings (clearing site data) or by logging out.
2. Technical session cookies (back office)
Server-rendered areas (admin panel, landing) may set Laravel technical session
cookies (e.g. the session cookie and the XSRF-TOKEN anti-CSRF token), necessary
for security and operation and deleted when the session ends. These are technical
cookies, exempt from consent.
3. Anonymous statistics — Plausible Analytics (Community Edition, self-hosted)
To measure site usage in aggregate form we use Plausible Analytics (Community Edition, self-hosted). This tool does not set cookies, does not store the IP address in identifiable form, and does not track users across sites. The statistics are anonymous and not attributable to an individual, therefore they require no consent.
4. Support chat — Tawk.to
The built-in chat widget (Tawk.to) sets its own cookies and may track the visitor's browsing on the site (pages visited, IP address), even independently of starting a conversation, to let operators offer contextual support. Before enabling these tracking cookies, the widget shows its own banner where you can accept or decline: without consent, only the cookies strictly necessary to run the chat itself remain active. The provider is listed as a processor in the Privacy Policy.
5. Payment component (checkout only)
Only during payment, the secure component of our gateway (Axerve/Fabrick, Banca
Sella Group) is loaded from web.axerve.com / sandbox-web.axerve.com. This
component may set technical cookies necessary to securely complete the
transaction (including 3D Secure checks). These are strictly necessary cookies.
Managing preferences
For Tawk.to's tracking cookies, you can choose directly from the widget's banner when it appears. You can also block or delete cookies and local storage from your browser settings at any time; disabling technical storage may, however, impair the operation of the account area (e.g. authentication).
